I am so in love with this weather we've been blessed with for the past three days!  Daytime temps are only in the low 70's and humidity is not an issue.  Add some sunshine and a breeze also and you have the kind of weather that makes this girl super happy!  Our windows are open, the fans are on and it's been paradise!  :)

Speaking of paradise (or lack thereof), I've been reading books about Africa.  In the last two weeks I read Scared by Tom Davis, and last night I started the book The Price of Stones by Twesigye Jackson Kaguri.  It's so heart breaking to find out how people in Africa are dying of starvation and AIDS and other diseases.  The children are left to take care of themselves.  I've had a heart for Africa since our church went to Africa on a mission trip.  I didn't even try to go, thinking I could never afford to pay for it.  We have since sponsored a teenage girl named Joyce through Every Orphans Hope and I still have a yearning to go to Africa.  Just yesterday I entered for a free missions trip to Africa.  Wow, what a chance of a lifetime!  To help the people, to show them God's love and to be His hands and feet.
